Fantini Winery - Ortona

The redevelopment project for Fantini Group Vini, designed by Rocco Valentini, stands as both a feat of urban regeneration and an award-winning excellence: the project was honored with the prestigious WTW – Willis Towers Watson Special Prize at the In/Architettura 2023 awards.

The building's technological heart lies in its new outer shell, featuring 3D engravings inspired by the intertwining of vine shoots. The lighting design was specifically engineered to elevate this concept: high-efficiency LED strips, embedded within the relief work, transform the facade into a luminous sculpture at sunset. The contrast between the corten-steel-effect finish of the walls and the bright glow of the incisions allows the design to stand out against the darkness, while simultaneously illuminating the company logo and the outdoor square. This masterful use of light turns the facility into a striking landmark, celebrating the profound bond between the winery and its land.
